Kashguli
The Kashguli are part of the Kashgai group of tribes of south Iran. Formerly nomadic, they were well known for their fabulous tribal rugs and trappings which are highly prized these days. Nowadays the Kashguli name is given to finely woven Gabbeh style and traditional nomadic designs made in the Shiraz district by highly skilled weavers. Using the finest wool dyed naturally these excellent quality rugs will last for generations. See also Loribaff rugs.
