Buying an Oriental rug can be the equivalent of entering a minefield. At Oriental Rugs of Bath, we have seen too many cases of people who had obtained rugs of inferior quality at inflated prices; many of them purchased in their country of origin! The only alternative to developing a high level of specialist knowledge is to deal with a reputable and well-established retailer.

Geographic distance from Bath need not be a hindrance to your joining our substantial body of customers. We locate and provide rugs for customers from all over the UK and abroad and have a great deal of experience in finding a rug or carpet which corresponds to your requirements in terms of pattern, colour, size and quality along with the characteristics of your interior design scheme. We have built up a substantial business with interior designers and individual clients, which often involves retailing at a distance and is based on a high level of personalised customer care.
- After we have located the rugs we think will correspond to your preferences and taste, we will either email or post you colour photographs of them with full details of price, quality etc.
- Once you are finally satisfied that we have found the rug that is right for you, we will dispatch it by special courier, under full insurance - on receipt of your remittance.
- You will have 14 days to decide if the rug is precisely what you want. If it is not right for your room, you can return it in its original condition and we will seek an alternative piece. If we are unable to satisfy your needs, we will reimburse you for the cost of the rug.
- If you would like us to help find the rug that is right for you, please take a few moments to browse through our sample gallery of rugs, illustrating some of the basic design characteristics of our wide-ranging stock. Don't worry if you can't find anything suitable in the ORB Rug Gallery. These are simply a limited selection of token samples.
- When you have formed some ideas on what you might like by way of colour, pattern, style, size and budget, send us details of your preferences.

Cleaning and Restoration of Oriental Rugs
We provide a first class cleaning, restoration and valuation service for oriental rugs and kilims, using established experts in their fields. This can go as far as re-weaving a significantly large worn area of a rug or simply putting right a minor blemish.
