Old Kashan Carpet

Some of the very best carpets woven in Iran come from the central town of Kashan, and this example is no exception. A very pleasing combination of colour and design, deep rose and dark blue with a very well executed classic floral central medallion style. This carpet is finely woven using a good quality wool, and although around thirty to forty years old, this carpet will last for many years.
