RUG Hazareh STOCK REF. NO. 5828 SIZE 2.74 x 1.84m PRICE £1495 Hazareh rugs and carpets originate in the area around Peshawar, West Pakistan. Made by Afghan weavers to the highest quality using the top-grade Ghazni wool for durability and lustre, the designs are based on Persian Ziegler and Indian Agra patterns from the 19th C. The soft natural colours are derived entirely from vegetable dyes. This piece, in the Agra style, is on a cream backround with green, gold and soft aubergine colours.
