RUG Hazareh STOCK REF. NO. 5789 SIZE 2.56 x 1.82m PRICE £1450 Hazareh rugs and carpets originate in the area around Peshawar, West Pakistan. Made by Afghan weavers to the highest quality using the top-grade Ghazni wool for durability and lustre, the designs are based on Persian Ziegler and Indian Agra patterns from the 19th C. The soft natural colours are derived entirely from vegetable dyes. This classic Persian design is in gold, cream and green against a terracotta background.
