ORB Rug Gallery
All our rugs are hand woven by craftsmen in tribal or village workshops, according to time honoured, traditional designs. Made from pure wool or silk, many of them are vegetable dyed. Unlike many cheaper products being imported from the East, they are the product of time consuming careful work, carried out to the highest standards.
The rugs featured in the ORB Gallery are simply to give you some idea of the range and extent of our stock. Please note that the colours and definition of the rugs featured are no more than an approximation, due to limitations of electronic image transmission. Contact us and we can supply high quality prints for a number of our stock items.
We have hundreds of rugs not featured here due to considerations of space, but please feel free to contact us without obligation for more information. Although we are known for our extensive stock of oversize carpets (i.e. larger than 13ft x 12ft), many of the larger carpets featured here are available in smaller sizes and vice-versa.
