Who We Are

Oriental Rugs of Bath has had a shop in Argyle Street, right next to the historic Pulteney Bridge, since 1992, selling the best quality Afghani, Caucasian, Chinese, Indian, Iranian, Pakistani and Turkish rugs and associated products.

In 2009, Joy and William Pryor took over the business, incorporating it as Oriental Rugs of Bath Ltd.

In 2011, they formed partnerships with Arzu and Afghan Action, two charities that support, train and empower rug weavers in Afghanistan. They also launched this website as part of their new marketing initiative which incorporates the recruitment of agents and the expansion of the number of rugs they offer.
