Loribaft Rugs (also Lori Baft, Luri Baft, Loribaff) These beautiful carpets are knotted by Kashgai and Luri nomads in south-western Iran. The carpets are well known for their primitive, naive patterns, some with more modern designs. The nomads draw their inspiration from their surroundings, which makes for unique, exciting carpets. They are similar to Gabbeh carpets, but are more tightly knotted with a shorter pile. Today they are also produced in Pakistan, inspired by the Persian originals and of the same high quality. The wool is hand-spun, naturally dyed and of a high quality, making durable carpets that last. The warp in the Persian carpets is usually made of wool, whereas cotton is used in Pakistani carpets. The carpets also sometimes contain silk elements. Loribaft is an extremely unique, beautiful carpet that really catches the eye in any home.

RETURNS   DELIVERY   ASK A QUESTION

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We want you to be delighted and inspired with what you buy from us!  So, if you find that the rug, kilim or piece of furniture just isn’t right when you get it home, tell us and we’ll do our best to exchange it for something you love.

The same goes if you want to return something for a refund. The last thing we want is customers unhappy with their purchases, so of course we’ll refund you.

Just two caveats:

  1. We ask you to cover the cost of returning things to us; and
  2. We can’t refund or exchange items that are not in the same condition as they left us, whether dirty or damaged.
